Illinois is one of ten states that enjoy some of the lowest average rates on fixed mortgages. Perhaps this is due to the high price of real estate in Chicago or the large number of real estate sales the area enjoys, but no matter what the reason, low interest rates are still a nice perk to buying a home in Illinoi....
